DoB: 29th October 1993. Born in Konoura, Nikaho. Graduated from Nikaho High School. The 4th captain of dragnet fishing boat named "Ryuei-maru" which has been passed down generation to generation for 61 years. Dreamed to be a fisherman as my father is and started working on a boat after hgh school. At the age of 26 I became a captain. Now I am working with my father and the other two members. My father has worked as a fisherman for 46 years. Other than dragnet fishing, we run a fishing boat and skin diving in summer. We are trying to deliver fresh seafoods and treat them carefully. My team is pretty young and agressive. We are proud of ourselves in that we have a record of no accidents for 60 years with the safe facility and operation. Now we are working on a fishing tourism and beginner fisherman training.

Interested in the fishery industry in Nikaho or have knowledge or ideas for promotion. We need an outside perspective. Recently we can deliver fresh fish to customers directly by using an e-commerce service. Though we have many issues, the situation is changing as time goes by thanks to the technology development. We are waiting for anyone who is creative enough to connect local resources with new ideas.
